This conference will push the boundaries of current understanding of crypto-currency and indeed digital currency as well as finance, technology, governance and law. It breaks down Bitcoins and smart contracts in a way that is easily understandable to those without specialist knowledge. Further, it helps students who attend this event to display commercial awareness to prospective employers and at the end certificates of completion will be given to paid members of GEEKLAW.
Andrea Bracciali of the University of Stirling – will provide an introduction to Bitcoin followed by a discussion of the smart contract system.
Immaculate Motsi of the University of Warwick – will provide an overview of the regulation of Bitcoin.
A third speaker will be announced shortly.
The event is open to the public.
