Human Rights and Constitutional Law Moot

Registration for the Human Rights and Constitutional Law Moot is now open! To register you need to send written submissions for BOTH APPELLANT AND RESPONDENT SIDES of the moot problem as a team of two.

Please refer to the Mooting page on the LULS website for the moot scenario and rules. The problem scenario has been designed so that you do not require any specialist human rights knowledge in order to compete. Therefore, this competition is open to law students of all years.

Please send your submissions to Derrick Tan (dwxt1) and Tabitha Brown (tmib1) via email before midnight Wednesday, 1st Feburary 2017. The Mistress and Master of the Moot will select the top 8 teams to make oral submissions after all applications have been reviewed.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain additional mooting experience in Semester 2 and features an exclusive once-in-a-lifetime prize (to be revealed shortly!). Please note that due to the prestigious nature of the prize it is a necessary requirement that any applicants have a keen interest in pursuing a career as a barrister.

Good luck and we look forward to receiving your submissions!
