Interested in brushing up your advocacy skills? We've got just the right opportunity for you. The University of Nottingham is hosting its 5th Annual Advocacy Cup event on Saturday, April 28th. This is an inter-varsity trial advocacy competition. It is held in conjunction with No 1 High Pavement Chambers and KCH Garden Square Chambers who are both large sets of chambers operating on the Midlands circuit.
Barristers from both sets of chambers mentor the teams and a coaching session takes on the morning of the event. The competition will be judged this year by HHJ Stokes QC and HHJ Smith QC together with senior members of the Bar and plenty of time is factored in for competitors and guests to chat to them over a glass of wine and nibbles!
Spots on this are limited and will be allotted on a first-come first-serve basis. If you are interested in participating, please email your Barristers' Rep, Anosha Khan at email@example.com
