The Law Society runs three main social events during the year: Law Bar Crawl - October

The first social event of the year is the Law Society Bar Crawl which was held on the 14th October. This is one of the largest and most anticipated society bar crawls of the year, and it did not disappoint. It was our biggest bar crawl to date as we completely sold out of t-shirts and had record numbers of law students with us. It was the perfect opportunity to socialise with all of the law society members!

Christmas Social - December

The Law Society launches into Christmas with the legendary Christmas Social. The perfect opportunity to get into the festive spirt. The 2016 event will feature surprises to be unveiled in November that will be sure to have the Society’s members raring to go for Christmas and reunite following the Law Society Bar Crawl.

University of Leicester Law Society Baker & McKenzie Law Ball - February

The Law Ball is going to be held on the 17th February 2017, and is the highlight of the Law Society social calendar. The Arabian Nights themed ball last year was hugely successful. This year we plan to build on that success. There is always a great deal of anticipation surrounding the theme of the ball and this year will be no exception. The year’s multitude of awards are presented at the Law Ball. Lecturers and students rub shoulders dressed in their finery. You will be richly entertained and dine in one of the City of Leicester’s landmark establishments. While the dance moves of some of the lecturers are always a talking point.
