Student Wellbeing Services
University can be stressful and difficult and it’s important to know where to turn if your mental health becomes affected. There is no need to suffer in silence. Mental health difficulties are a common problem but there are lots of resources and services that can help.
LAW SOCIETY CHECK-IN SESSIONS
The check-in sessions will occur weekly and will be for students to discuss how they are coping with university and being in the Law Society. The sessions will be a great way to connect with Law Society members and figure out what most students are struggling with in order to cater events for them. Such events could include events for international students, mindfulness activities, mental health week, yoga and how to deal with imposter syndrome as well as exam stress.
The students may also be signposted to other wellbeing services provided by the University and Student Union by the Well being and diversity officer, Shala Emmanuel (se188@student.le.ac.uk).
